Victorian Burr Walnut Pedestal Desk Edwards & Roberts

Fine quality burr walnut 19th Century (c.1870) Victorian antique pedestal desk by quality cabinet makers Edwards & Roberts. The desk has 9 mahogany lined hand dovetailed drawers that are all solid in joint and slide as they should, there is a single key that fits the centre drawer only. The desk has been refurbished in our workshop and has been professionally cleaned and waxed to maintain its wonderful antique patina and colour. It has had a new leather insert with gold tooling fitted. The desk is a good size and very well proportioned, the twin pedestals stand on original hidden castors. It comes in three sections for transport and sets up easily.
